Created during a time of heavy emotion for me – I let it all out on canvas with deep black and white mark making and colorful floating fragments. The balance between the emotional and loose background with the tight and vibrant shapes in the foreground allowed me to seek therapy in the abstract. My hopes is that the collector of this piece will find a similar place of solace and balance through the energy of this artwork.
