This painting acts as a vignette of the color theory and experimentation I use within all of my paintings – combining full spectrum color with black and white contrast, the balance of organic and hard-edged elements, and allowing texture and subtle nuances of paint in general to show through upon closer inspection. I have a fascination with how colors can “vibrate,” so this painting is an homage to that interest of mine within my works.
